An exceptional domain
in Normandy
Welcome to Château d’Amblie.
The history of the estate stretches far back. In the 17th century, it was a seigneurial manor. Rebuilt around 1750 by the Coupesarte family, it became the property of our ancestor Jean-François de Cairon de la Varende in 1767.
Deeply transformed over the centuries, from a remarkable neoclassical château to a reception center for thousands of refugees in July 1944, Château d’Amblie is today a family estate that opens its doors to visitors, inviting everyone to experience “la vie de château.”
